Northern Việt Nam is worth to be discovered

Ha Long Bay - One of the UNESCO World Heritage

Located in the Northeast of Vietnam, 165 km away from the capital Ha Noi, the Ha Long Bay was discovered. It covers an area of 43, 400 ha and including over 1600 islands and islets. Most of it are uninhabited and therefore is it not affected by humans.

Visiting to the World Heritage site is an essential experience, the region showcases craggy limestone peaks, tropical forests, caves, waterfalls and historical sights.Visitors to Ha Long Bay explore the caves by boat cruise. We can experience sailing overnight around great island and islets OR choose hotel to stay by the bay, enjoy the night life of the Ha Long Bay. You may go for a coffee or beer, chit chat with the local Vietnamese, have a relaxing massage and etc.

The Cruise at the Ha Long Bay for tourists.

I was personally impressed when I made my move to Northern Viet Nam. It is incredibly beautiful that no matter from which angle you see the region, no matter from far to near, the impressiveness will increased. It will be even enjoyable if you are a seafood lover. Must at least try the seafood at Ha Long Bay, the seafood dishes are freshly cook and taste absolutely nice. However, it's all depends, as I'm a great seafood lover.

Visiting Thien Cung Cave, which located in the north of Daugo Island (one of the island of Ha Long Bay), tourist can enjoy interesting stories about the shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites formed million years ago, relating to the legend of King Dragon. You may unleash your own creativity and imagination here as well!

Sapa, the beautiful "Golden" village

Why is it Golden when it is not a gold mining village?

Sapa is located 350 km away from Hanoi, close to the borders of China. It is a home for a great diversity of ethnic minority people. Rice plantations in their main source of income. Sight seeing of terraced rice field in Sapa is always great as it's the way of getting closer to understand the life of the villagers.

Tourists will have a chance to explore this remote part of the country with its hidden values, admiring beauty of the rich nature, meeting local ethnic minority people with their interesting culture.

Capital of the country: Hanoi

Hanoi is surrounded by the Red River, where the Hoan Kien Lake is known as the core of the city. Not only the oldest part of the city, it is the busiest and most interesting. There is a 15th century legend

The districts of Hanoi, aka 36 streets are each named for a commodity once sold all the business on that street. Streets here are named for the fans, chicken, flower, medicine, coffins, jewelry and etc. You will still happen to see some traditional occupations that hardly to be found in modern cities nowadays. It's worth to pay a visit to Vietnam as you will notice outstanding and unique design of buildings within the developing city.

The People

As I've been there for a week, I notice that the local people are hardworking and having great passion towards their occupations and I think this is mainly due to they had been through all the hard time. (This is only what I personally felt) However, if you intended to help them by buying the items they are selling, my advice is to buy at a store will be good as if you bought from one of them, the others will surround you and hoping that you will buy from them too.

Overall, it's a great trip!! Great experiences & great exposure to the cultures, the beauty of the mother nature, and the precious hidden values.
